About Ellie

Dr Bailey is a kind, thoughtful and skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, delivering at the new Sydney Adventist Hospital maternity unit.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and NZ College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She completed her medical training in the UK and relocated to Sydney where she undertook her specialist training at the Royal North Shore Hospital. Her advanced fellowship training focused on the management of complex high-risk pregnancies, and in gynaecological and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery.

Dr Bailey stays up-to-date with the best evidence-based practice, which combined with her experience, ensures she delivers the safest care to her patients. In addition to this, she shares her extensive knowledge with students, as Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame.

She has a friendly, understanding nature and prides herself on taking the time to understand you, and strives to individualise her approach to best meet your needs.

Ellie is a mother of two, and lives locally in the Upper North Shore. Having experienced pregnancy and birth herself, she understands what it is like to be a patient and ‘on the other side.’

Living just minutes from the hospital, coupled with intentionally small patient numbers, means Ellie delivers truly personalised, expert care.
